CAL-IN is proud to announce the new SoLux Tech Light Fixture. This unique light fixture compliments any modern or contemporary living or work space. With its high tech design and polished chrome finish, it is the most radical lamp you'll ever own.

We included a SoLux 4700K 50Watt 36 Degree Bulb and black cover shield with this fixture to provide the highest quality daylight possible in a light fixture.

SoLux has been tested, approved, and recommended by the worlds most exacting color experts in various disciplines ranging from museum lighting, light therapy, photography, digital color proofing, automotive paint finishing, and machine vision.

The Tech lamp is a 50 watt fixture. The desk lamp comes with a on/off switch located on its base, and diffuser for wide coverage. The floor lamp's switch is located on the pole for convenient access and also comes with a diffuser. If a high intensity daylight beam is what you desire, remove the diffuser and turn on the high beam! Overall, the table lamp measures 20 inches in height and the floor lamp measures a maximum of 5 feet six inches in height. Both desk and floor light come with a 6 foot black cord.


As a new option, we are offering an Anti-Glare Kit, first offered on the Artisan, but due to the positive response we now offer a similar option for the Floor and Desk Tech Lamp. We offer this option to better satisfy the following criteria for an optimal work environment.

*Uniform light distribution.
*Minimum glare and shadowing.
*High light intensity on work area.
*Ability to point light in multiple directions.
*Daylight source that optimizes visual acuity and minimizes eye fatigue.

While the standard diffuser meets many of these criteria and provides a more uniform distribution of light, the Anti-Glare Optics virtually eliminate glare and shadowing and provide a higher intensity light.

When using the Tech Light with Anti-Glare Optics, we recommend you place the fixture approximately 2 feet in front of you and point the beam down, towards your work surface. This set-up provides a 45 degree (angle of incidence) 0 degree (viewing angle) required for optimal document viewing. With the standard diffuser, we recommend placing the fixture off to the side to minimize glare.
