To achieve a wider beam spread with a softer light order the plano-convex diffuser. The plano-convex diffuser doubles the beam spread of a SoLux bulb. For example a 24 degree beam spread becomes a 48 degree beam spread.

To soften light only, order the plano-plano diffuser.

The filter clip secures the plano-convex diffuser, plano-plano diffuser, and honeycomb louver to the SoLux bulb. The filter clip is not necessary with the track light fixtures.

The bulb shield blocks light from coming out from back of bulb. The bulb shield and filter clip are required for the Euro style lamps, and Clamp-on lamps only.




The Honeycomb Louver is used to reduce stray light coming out of the bulb. Place it over the bulb and you will not be able to see the light exiting the source unless you are directly in its path.





The NEW Snout attachment for Tailored Lighting track fixtures. Reduces the stray light and cleans up the edges of the light emitted by the bulb. Works best with 36, 24, and 17 degree beamspreads. Enables our fixtures to perform the same function as competing fixtures costing over $1200 each! Recommended for color proofing applications and illuminating artwork. Comes with clip for attaching to fixture. Picture at right shows what snout looks like installed.

Our NEW Neutral Density Screen Kit enables you to control the light output without changing the color temperature of the light source. The Screen Kit is only intended to be used with the plano convex diffuser and works best when screens are rotated relative to one another. One screen will reduce the light by 30%, two screens 50%, three screens 60%. Kit comes with 3 screens.


Optional on/off in-line thumb switches are available for our fixtures with cords. Switches come in white and brown colors.
