CAL-IN is the Latin American Distributor for Ruscombe PaperMill.  Ruscombe PaperMill produces the most comprehensive range of fine conservation and art papers made by hand in Europe. The mill combines traditional, flexible, small-scale manufacturing methods with the highest quality raw materials. They produce a wide variety of paper to suit the needs of both amateur and professional artists, editors, bookbinders and conservators.

The Mill has developed a number of special printmaking papers designed to meet the needs of both the discerning amateur and those of professional print studios.

SILK SCREEN AND ETCHING PAPERS The wove paper is a very stable sheet with broad appeal for silkscreen and etching. Currently available in three shades, bright white, ivory and cream, we can produce other shades and weights to order. The 160 gm² sheet has undergone trials for digital printing with fine results and is also used as a text paper for limited book editions using both letterpress and inkjet printers. The character and luminosity of the surface of the white heavier weight sheet is much admired and provides a very keen alternative for editing.

LITHOGRAPHY

A new Margaux Estampe paper has been developed in association with Curwen Chilford Prints to meet the needs of continuous tone fine quality offset lithographic printing. It enables at least 16 colors to be laid down with no loss of registration, the satin finish of these sheets is achieved by additional controlled cold wet pressing.
