Dr. Shannon M. Hollsten is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CAL-IN. 

Dr. Hollsten is a finance and operations executive specializing in manufacturing, high tech and private equity firms.  Shannon joined Ventilacion Industrial, S.A. in 1993, as the Director of International Sales and Marketing.  She was promoted to SVP of Operations in 1997 and purchased the IAQ division of the company in 2002.

In 2002, Shannon expanded the company's reach to the United States and co-founded Hollsten Industries, a Class 100, HEPA, ULPA and carbon filter manufacturing facility serving the National Ignition Facility (NIF) project at Lawrence Livermore's National Laboratory (LLNL).  

In 2004, Shannon opened CAL-IN and began restructuring efforts to expand the company's reach into new sectors. In addition to modernizing and automating the facilities, Dr. Hollsten expanded the company's product lines into consumables building a supplier network, today representing over 1,000,000 conservation and preservation products.

One of Shannon’s early positions was as a Sub-Director for the Campeche State Fund under Jorge Salomon Azar Garcia (1991 - 1997), the Governor of Campeche, Mexico. In this position, Shannon was involved in recruiting business and industry to the State of Campeche to promote employment and economic development - Ventilacion Industrial was one of the companies with whom she worked to open a local sales branch. Impressed with Shannon's performance, the president of VISA recruited Shannon to join their growing sales and marketing team.

In addition to this position, Shannon invested in and served as President of an international medical device company located in California building specialized wheelchairs for adults and children. She served on the board of the company's joint venture in Osaka, Japan.

Dr. Hollsten graduated with a Doctorate degree in Philosophy and a Masters in Business Administration from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Shannon maintains active memberships in various industry related associations.
