Custom polyethylene pouches protect book edges and covers — no adhesives used

    Description:
    The system consists of a simple portable desktop machine that uses four sizes of polyethylene pouches (available and sold separately below). In just 20 seconds, the system will apply a custom fit book covering without the use of glue or tape.

    Transparent, 3.5mil polyethylene coverings shield books and periodicals while leaving jackets, covers, bar codes and catalog labels visible, yet protected. Pouches are flexible and won't stick together on the shelf.

    Accessories:
    Pouches are required for covering and are sold separately in four sizes below. To determine the correct pouch for your book, measure the height and width of your book and choose a pouch size that is taller than your book and wider than twice the width of the book plus the spine.

    Sealing bars for the station last for approximately 5,000 cuts. A replacement sealing bar for the two-lever CoLibri Pocket Book Covering Station (part number: 53050) is available and sold separately below (part number: 53051). A replacement sealing bar for the one-lever CoLibri Book Covering System (part number: 51045) is also available and sold separately below (part number: 51046).
