    Description:
    Use the A-D (acid-detection) strip kit to determine the approximate extent of acetate support degradation in individual films or as a survey tool for gaining an overview of the condition of film in an entire collection.

    Instructions:
    Place a strip inside a closed can, bag, box or cabinet. After the required length of time (per the instructions included) the strip is compared to the color bands on the pencil. As the level of acidity increases, strips change from their original blue color to Blue-green, Green, Yellow-green and finally to Bright Yellow (the most acidic).
